Two tanks, one 36 Ga and one 10 Ga. The 36 has the fan and it gets turned on automatically at 71 degrees. It kept it there - more or less - through out the day. The 10 Ga tank with only plants in it and a HOB was at 74.6 at least. So it works, just make sure to keep your water levels in check using a fan for cooling purposes.Do give the fan time, it does NOT work instantaneously....
