Loved this fan. It’s super quiet and it makes our bedroom look very stylish. Also loved the timer option to turn the fan off after I fall asleep.Made my bedroom feel more elegant love this fandolierThe unit looks very nice, but the arms are VERY short. Does not move much air at all. This fandelier is amazingly beautiful. It definitely kicks out good air. I would recommend for sure.Nice fanNoise level is loud makes a clicking noiseThis beauty is a hybrid of a chandelier and a ceiling fan. If that doesn't sound strange enough, you must also realize that (for practical purposes) the fan blades are invisible! So lets talk about the installation: In the box you get the handheld remote, ceiling gimbal mount, the down tube, the three main parts of the body and all the screws, hardware and wire nuts you will need to do a very quick installation - there are also 2 boxes of crystal pendants and a 3 different lengths of crystal drop chains. Installation is the same as with any other modern ceiling fan. Included are instructions for assembly and electrical connections. I took me longer to remove the old/original fan than it did to install this one. Installation takes about 15~20 minutes. Assembling & hanging the crystal drop chains and pendants take about the same amount of time. Always remember to turn off the power to the circuit (the circuit breaker) before you do electrical work. This lamp uses B10/E12 bulbs so make sure you have 3 bulbs to fit this device before you install. The visual effect of the crystal pendants is greatly intensified by using an LED bulb with simulated filaments (see photo) I'm using 1.5 watt LEDs in mine (equal to 15 watts) to get the maximum prismatic effect from the crystal. Try not to use incandescent bulbs - the fixture gets way too warm, dare I say hot.The unusual thing about this luminary fixture is indeed the fan/fan blades (see photo) The blades will extend by centrifugal force when you turn the fan on and retract slowly after you turn the fan off. Other than a blur of motion, you cannot see the fan blades. The fan is quite effective at moving air - straight down and beneath the fan - it does not stir the air in the entire room as a regular ceiling fan does. The remote controller features buttons to control the fan in 3 steps of speed and the lightbulb icon buttons turn the lamps either on of off, you can press either button to accomplish such. Still handier is the time function for the fan with a selectable 2-4-8 hour delay timer that will turn the fan off after the time span shown on the three buttons. Turn the fan on, then push one of the timer buttons. Your timer is now set and the fan will turn off after the allotted time expires.Tedious but not difficult is the process of installing the crystals. After you secure the outer shade ring and the lamp socket base/crystal hanger you will notice dozens of tiny metal loops where each crystal drop chain & crystal pendant will hang. Use the drop chains as they are labeled, applying the crystals from the center to the outer ring. The end result is very rewarding! The crystals will catch sunlight as well as the light from the fixture itself. You can see the prismatic effect (see photo) that the crystals exhibit - it will project onto all surrounding surfaces inline/angular to the light source. Conclusion: This is a truly beautiful & unique luminary that is definitely worth the effort to install. I've never seen anything quite like it nor have I ever seen so much crystal occupying such a small area. Its a striking effect to be sure. Our expectations have been far exceeded by the beauty of this thing. It is one of a kind!
